We managed to get up and out of our Amsterdam apartment at the buttcrack of dawn. It was light because the sign never really sets here.. It just gets twilight from about 11am to 4am. (I wore the eyeshades issued on the plane). The early start allowed us to catch an earlier train.. We'll have enough time for some waffles or to buy some chocolate before hurting getting on the Eurostar to go to London.
